The 2020 Lincoln SUV lineup includes:

Which vehicle has the best safety tech features? Which ones take the idea of a luxury SUV to the next level? Here, we’ll go over everything you need to know about Lincolns SUV models, helping you to feel confident when you decide that it’s time to move forward with a purchase.

Safety Ratings:

The Aviator received a 5-star crash test rating from NHTSA, but there have also been five recalls issued on the vehicle. If you own an Aviator, be sure to keep up with communications from Lincoln to ensure your safety.

The Aviator received a good crashworthiness rating from IIHS and was named a 2020 top safety pick.

A word to the wise: While most of the ratings you’ll find for the Aviator are positive, be sure to check out negative reviews as well. Some drivers have constant transmission problems with their Aviator, so you may want to think twice before purchasing this vehicle.

While most drivers love the vehicle’s tech, luxury, and safety features (especially the Lincoln Co-Pilot 360 systems), as previously mentioned, transmission issues come up in reviews frequently. Experts rate the vehicle a 4.1 out of 5 stars.

Corsair: $38,032 – $49,481

Blue 2020 Lincoln Corsair In Motion

This compact luxury crossover offers drivers many features loved by drivers of the line’s larger models. Seating five, the vehicle is reliable, fun to drive, and provides the smooth ride that drivers expect from Lincoln. The car sits slightly lower than some drivers expect from an SUV, providing a sporty experience.

2020 Corsair Specs:

  • Engine: Turbocharged 2.0L I
  • Lincoln Soft Touch Heated Comfort Seats – includes: 10-way power driver and passenger seats w/power lumbar, driver seat memory, and 4-way head restraints
  • Radio: Lincoln Premium Audio System w/MP3 -inc: AM/FM and 10 speakers including subwoofers
  • Lincoln Co-Pilot360 – Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and Cross-Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection with Cross-Traffic Alert Blind Spot
  • Quasi-Dual Stainless Steel Exhaust w/Chrome Tailpipe Finisher

Safety Ratings:

The Corsair received a 5-star overall safety rating from NHTSA, but be aware that three recalls have been issued on the vehicle.

The IIHS named the Corsair a 2020 top safety pick and gave a good rating in all crashworthiness categories.

Owners love the Corsair’s effortless drive and talk about how it has the tech and luxury features they’d expect from a much more expensive car. Experts rate the vehicle 4.2 out of 5 stars, citing its lack of a high-performance option as one of the reasons the Corsair missed a 5-star rating.

Nautilus: $38,217 – $55,952

Lincoln SUV model: White 2020 Nautilus In Motion

This midsize luxury crossover seats five, and reviewers say that this large vehicle is better suited for leisurely Sunday drives than trying to race up to top speeds (on the track, of course). The Nautilus has an upscale luxury cabin, and drivers and passengers alike feel that they’re treated to updated tech and safety features.

2020 Nautilus Specs:

  • Engine: 2.0L Turbocharged I
  • Heated Lincoln Soft-Touch Front Bucket Seats -inc: comfort seats (10-way) power driver and passenger seat w/two-way power lumbar, driver seat memory and 4-way manual adjustable head restraints
  • FOB Controls -inc: Cargo Access, Windows and Remote Engine Start
  • Wheels: 18″ Premium Painted Aluminum -inc: 18″ mini spare wheel
  • AdvanceTrac w/RSC Electronic Stability Control (ESC) And Roll Stability Control (RSC)

Safety Ratings:

NHTSA awarded the Nautilus a 5-star overall safety rating, but be aware that there are three open recalls on the vehicle.

IIHS rated the vehicle as good in each crashworthiness category.

Drivers give the Nautilus five stars, and for good reason. Great gas mileage for the vehicle’s size, plenty of legroom, and a spacious cabin are all cited by drivers as reasons why they love their Nautilus. Experts aren’t quite as in love with this SUV, giving it an average of 3.9 out of five stars (drawbacks cited by experts include the fact that the vehicle is based on the old MKX Lincoln SUV model and hasn’t seen a facelift in quite some time).

Navigator: $74,885 – $80,773

Bronze 2020 Lincoln Navigator From Front-Driver Side

The big kahuna: the Lincoln Navigator. While this vehicle doesn’t get up in price quite as high as the Aviator, it’s well-known among SUV enthusiasts. The Navigator is a gas-guzzler, but die-hard fans love the vehicle’s top-of-the-line, American-style luxury features.

2020 Navigator Specs:

  • Engine: 3.5L Twin
  • Premium Lthr Htd/Ventilated Low Back Comfort Seats -inc: 10-way captain’s chairs w/4-way adjustable head restraints and 2-way power lumbar support w/reflexive manual independent thigh support, driver seat memory, enhanced micro-perforation, and Lincoln Soft Touch
  • Tires: P275/55R20 AS BSW -inc: (H-rated), 17″ spare tire (P265/70R17)
  • AdvanceTrac w/RSC Electronic Stability Control (ESC) And Roll Stability Control (RSC)
  • Transmission: 10-Speed Automatic w/SelectShift -inc: paddle activation

Safety Ratings:

The Navigator has a 5-star safety rating from NHTSA but has yet to be rated for crashworthiness by IIHS.
