What’s the price of a 2020 Kia Telluride?

The 2020 Kia Telluride’s MSRP ranges between $37,804 for the base LX trim to $51,615 for a decked-out SX model with dual sunroofs and a surround-view parking system.

The LX Trim

Kicking off the 2020 Telluride lineup is the base LX trim, which has an MSRP of $37,804. As with every Telluride, this model comes equipped with a motivated 3.8L V6 engine under the hood, which cranks out 291 horsepower.

This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, although all-wheel drive was optional when this SUV was sold new. The LX trim also receives 18-inch alloy wheels for a composed and enjoyable ride.

Inside the cabin, the LX offers some niceties that include simulated-leather upholstery for a high-end look and feel, as well as Bluetooth® connectivity and an eight-inch touchscreen interface with smartphone integration.

Setting the 2020 Telluride apart from many other midsize SUVs on the market is its standard selectable drive modes, which make it easy to customize your vehicle’s performance based on the terrain you’re encountering.

The LX is also loaded with plenty of standard safety equipment that you would shell out extra money for on many other SUVs’ base models, including:

  • Forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking
  • Lane-keep assist
  • Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert
  • Adaptive cruise control

The S Trim

Stepping up to the S trim comes with a higher MSRP of $41,867 to start, though you will enjoy a few additional features and upgrades that may justify the larger price tag.

For example, every Telluride S comes with much larger 20-inch wheels to enhance your driving experience. You’ll also enjoy standard roof rails for additional cargo storage, as well as a power sunroof and heated front seats.

If you want to swap out the standard second-row bench seat with more comfortable captain’s chairs, upgrading to this trim (or higher) will be a must. However, you can still get the S model with bench seating if you prefer the larger capacity.

The EX Trim

Although the LX and S trims are far from bare-bones on the 2020 Telluride. The EX trim will yield you some significant upgrades — as it should with a starting MSRP of $42,783.

The upgrades begin with the Telluride’s exterior, which receives LED taillights, a convenient hands-free liftgate, power-folding mirrors, and even acoustic glass for the front doors to further reduce road noise.

Inside the cabin, the upgrades continue with tri-zone automatic climate control, which makes it easy for you and your passengers to fully customize your comfort. Leather upholstery also adorns the interior of every EX trim.

Additional features on every 2020 Telluride EX are generous and include:

  • Ventilated front seats
  • Upgraded 10.3-inch touchscreen interface
  • Wireless device charging pad

The EX is also outfitted with a unique “Quiet Mode” setting that silences the rear speakers and is perfect for napping kids. Meanwhile, a driver voice-amplification system makes it easy to get the attention of your third-row passengers when needed.

The SX Trim

Driving the Kia Telluride price, the SX trim has a starting MSRP of $45,403. This is the go-to trim if you’re looking for the best that this model has to offer.

Specifically, the SX is decked out with everything from the EX model, but with over-the-top upgrades like:

  • Dual sunroofs
  • Ambient interior lighting
  • A surround-view parking system
  • A 10-speaker Harman Kardon sound system

For added safety and peace of mind, the SX also has a blind-spot camera, an automated highway driving system, and automatic high beams.

Optional on the SX trim is a Towing Capacity package, which comes with a self-leveling suspension and maxes out this SUV’s towing abilities at a respectable 5,000 pounds.
