- Air conditioning defects and failure

More about the Ford F-150 AC System
Most Ford F-150 models are equipped with standard air conditioning, although the very early model years may not have come standard with this feature in the base trim levels. In models in which air conditioning is standard, the system relies heavily on refrigerant and an AC compressor to deliver cold air to the cabin.
In some recent Ford F-150 model years, dual-zone climate control and even tri-zone climate control may be available. These more innovative AC systems allow for more customizable temperature controls to keep everybody comfortable.
